Or is it the media "talking down" the economy in a death spiral?

Who says there has to be a pendulum, that what goes up economically must come down?

I don't just ask as a man whose wife has been looking for more than a YEAR for a decent-paying job. But that's sure part of it.

Want to blame someone? Fine. I'm more interested in how to avoid the depths/ fix/solve the problem!
